More than the Arts
At St. Michael CA, the arts are used as powerful learning tools for other subjects. The arts can help students develop their communication, literacy and numeracy skills, while they explore topics such as social intelligence, mental health and cultural appreciation.
St. Michael’s arts education is rooted in the values of the Catholic Church. Through their art, students see their creativity as a gift from God and a means of bringing beauty and truth into the world.
The school is described as “a jewel of a school,” where staff, parents and students work together to create a vibrant community centred on the arts.
